This site uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts. Everything it stores in your browser is listed below — nothing else, and nothing follows you to other sites.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Requires |
|---|---|---|---|
| appSession | Cookie | Keeps you signed in securely (Auth0 session). | Essential |
| define-consent.v1 | Local storage | Remembers your privacy choices so we don’t ask again. | Essential |
| selected-herd-id | Local storage | Remembers which herd you were working with. | Essential (signed-in only) |
| splash-played | Session storage | Plays the landing animation once per visit instead of every page. | Essential |
| Anonymous analytics id | Local storage (inside define-consent.v1) | A random identifier so we can count visits and see which pages help — it links to no account and is erased when you withdraw consent. | Only with “Anonymous analytics” consent |
| A/B variant assignment | Derived (never stored separately) | Shows you a consistent variant of pages we are testing. | Only with “Improvements” consent |
How consent works here
Until you make a choice, no analytics run at all. If you allow anonymous analytics, events like “pricing page viewed” are recorded under a random identifier. If you also allow improvements, you may occasionally see a tested variant of a page, and which variant you saw is recorded with those same anonymous events. Your decision itself is logged — without any identifier — so we can demonstrate we honoured it.
